About Us
ASSIST came into being following the initiative of a group of individuals who have been working in the field of rural development for three decades, and who have debated the question of expressing a commitment to the poor, but with a difference. This quest culminated in the birth of the organisation. Leading this group of individuals is Mr. J. Ranga Rao, the Operational Director, and Mr. K.S.R. Murthy, the Executive Director, who are still working hard to realise this vision of development.
